Roles in the Lighting Department

• Lighting Designer - Overall in charge of the plot, the look, and the cues.
• Lead Electrician - Leads the team to hang and focus the lights. Implements the vision of the designer.
• Light Board Op - Programs and runs the light cues at the direction of the lighting designer
• Spotlight Operator runs the follow spot during rehearsals and shows
• Electrician - helps hang, focus, and manage the lights at the direction of the Lead Electrician
